In the fourth quarter of 2024, the train games category in Ireland saw notable activity across the top five applications, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Train Station 2: Railroad Sim from Pixel Federation Games witnessed fluctuations in weekly revenue, which peaked at approximately $400 in mid-November. Downloads showed significant growth towards the end of the quarter, reaching 205K in the last week of December. Active users increased slightly from 343K to 363K.

Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks by Budge Studios experienced a gradual rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $132 in late October. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 87K in the final week. Active users also rose, ending at 165K.

Train Miner: Idle Railway Game from AI Games FZ saw consistent growth in weekly revenue, culminating at $118 in late December. Downloads were strong throughout the quarter, peaking at 279K in mid-November. Active users increased from 2.5M to over 3.1M by the end of the quarter.

Thomas & Friends Minis also from Budge Studios, showed a modest revenue increase, peaking at $93 in early November. Downloads varied slightly, with a peak of 86K in the last week. Active users saw a slight upward trend, reaching 162K at year-end.

Finally, Thomas & Friends™: Let's Roll by StoryToys Limited demonstrated a notable revenue increase, peaking at $109 in early December. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 64K. Active users rose from 119K to 162K.
